Publisher's Summary

Ever since an accident turned her into a knockout vamp, Elvi Black's been catching her z's in a coffin, staying out of the sun, and giving up garlic. She knows there's more to being undead than what she saw in Dracula, but she can't very well ask her mortal friends about proper biting etiquette.

But when her neighbors placed a personal ad for her in the local paper, she never imagined she'd meet Victor Argeneau, a vampire who could have his pick of any woman - dead or alive. Rich, powerful, and drop-dead gorgeous, Victor's the perfect man for a novice neck-biter like Elvi. He's willing to teach her everything he knows, but he'll have to do it fast. Someone's out to put a stake through her new vamp life, and only Victor can keep her safe - and satisfied - for all eternity.

The Accidental Vampire

The book was good - Only problem was the recording wasn't complete. The last 5-10 minutes was missing. It like reading a good book and the last 5 pages are missing

the Accidental Vampire

They forgot to put in the last chapter. I'm serious. Chapter twenty-one of the book was left out. It cuts off after chapter twenty and leaves the wrap-up 'un-wrapped'. I had to go to my copy of the book and flip to the back to finish the story because it's not part of the audio book I just bought. (The rest of the book was great but it p!$$ed me off to not get the ending of the book.)

No missing chapters

The entire book downloaded for me. The narrator is horrible, but I still enjoyed the book.

Great Story & Irritating Narrator

This is one of Linsay Sands' s best stories in the series. I love the silliness of the "cheesecake emergencies" and the unlikeliness of the plot line. All very creative. Sands has finally figured out some more symptoms of Life Mates and made it a known thing among the immortal population. Much better. As for Victoria McGee's narration, I am becoming less aware of her voice but as she narrates, I pay closer attention to her, and have to purposefully stop paying attention to her voice and concentrate only on the story. Her Italian accent wasn't much better than before, her German accent was acceptable, and her British accent is okay. She talks too softly and carefully for my taste.

Not finished

It ends without finishing. There should be 3 parts not 2. The ending of the book is left off. It is horrible.

Last Chapter missing

I enjoy all of Lynsay Sands books. They make me laugh. However I can not recommend this one because the last chapter is missing. Victor was just about to talk with his brother, the head of the Vampire Council when it ended. I have notified audible.com and hopefully they will be able to find the missing chapter and add it to Part 2.

The Accidental Vampire

The last chapter of the book is missing, so it has no finish. I wrote Audible about this and they said they were "checking". Hopefully they will be able to get this fixed. Otherwise the book is great.
