À propos de cet audio

I Believe the Holy Spirit inspired Dr. Frank Buchman, a minister, to bring hope to the addicted and remind us that the age of miracles is back through Jesus Christ. This is Step 6 (contemplation).

Before it became Alcoholics Anonymous, Dr. Frank Buchman, a minister, saw that his anger and resentments blocked him from God's plan for his life. He stopped taking a paycheck and followed Jesus Christ's teachings to “make disciples all over the world”. He did just that and made such a transformative impact that even Hitler's evil forces paid attention.

Then the Oxford Group introduced it to Bill Wilson through Ebby Thatcher, the first official court card. This book blends the original biblical history of the Oxford Group and the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous to help the reader gain spiritual discernment to defeat addictive mind-sets that fear and anger create, that turn into addictions.

In 1934, with Hitler in power, the Oxford Group’s work in Europe brought hope that a Christian revolution could be the best answer. And that “the hope that the whole continent of Europe would be influenced and find a true answer through the dictatorship of the living Spirit of God”.

The Germans decreed that the Oxford Group was part of the British Intelligence Service and should be harshly suppressed.
