This book scored a lot of points with me when the female lead discovered that she was being selfie and taking but not giving ( as most females in romance seem to do).

I love the story. It was mostly about their love developing. Their trials were low key and the suspense and anxiety levels were tame. I love that she grew through her trauma and reciprocated his love.
