How could the FL write believable romance without knowing anything about sex which is how she presents herself to the ML. If she wrote good stories, she would have learned about sex from researching for her writing, or she left the sex acts out of her writing. She would have the knowledge if not the experience. The story’s not awful, in general it’s pretty good, but there are sections that make it seem like you’ve missed something. I’ll read the first book to see if it presents the missing parts although that would mean the MC’s in this story play a big role in the first. Very confusing.
The storyline from the first book doesn’t make sense in the second, as the couple isn’t actually together yet but they keep getting caught having sex in the office, and they each get fired. It’s like the author forgot the storyline. Also, what woman wears a snug wrap dress around the house and baggy clothes to work! And why near the end does the FL turn into a total idiot? Think I’ll skip the rest of the series. Have to admit I loved the ending and AC is great as usual.
