When another man dies and a third is injured, it’s clear that whatever is behind the attacks needs to be caught, and fast. But are the villagers really seeing what they think they are? Is there actually a beast on the loose? Or is what’s out there something more sinister—and much more human?

Not as exciting as some of Mr. Kinsey's previous stories but loved the humorous exchanges between Lady Hardcastle and Florence.

I can’t recommend this series enough. My favorite of all the cozy mysteries. The writing allows, Lady Hardcastle and Flo to come alive in your mind. This series not only holds my attention, but makes me smile every time.

TE Kinsey falls under my category of delightful, entertaining, funny and an all round fabulous writer of extremely enjoyable mystery stories.
I’ve been super dying to read this latest book and it seemed to take an age to be released - I’m sorry to say it was a disappointment and the story line seemed very similar to a writing of another mystery author.
