A warm, generous offering

Its so warm.
I can feel the love she has for her husband and their baby boy and for these short 3 minutes, I could share and bask in that love. A poignant reminder of the instant rush of love I felt when my sweet baby was placed in my arms 12 years ago.
The Duchess narrates in a sweet, melodious voice. Soft and flowing.
I loved it.

Sweet and Loving tribute to fathers

This is a sweet tribute to fathers and sons. The poem is lovely and I both listened and read it so I could see the beautiful illustrations of benches and the fathers and sons who inhabit them. This was something I would have liked to have said to the father of my children, that he is so much more important than the world sometimes gives him credit for. Very inclusive with fathers from all walks of life and places around the globe.

My dad wanted a boy and ended up having girls. We knew because we were taught to hunt, fish, camp, love sports (both playing and watching), and generally to be independent. I think this sentiment works just as well for those fathers who had girls because they are all the things we see here for us too. I enjoyed listening because you can feel the emotion in her voice as she reads it and that makes it special that she shares this.

I think this will be cherished by parents and children as something they want to hear at storytime because it can bring them closer. Just my take on things. Give it a read!

Nostalgia

Reminds me of the times spent with my Father. Now, the encourages me to spend those times with my children. Loved the music in the background, which helps me to visualize events. Thank You Meghan for this gift!🥰

would make a lovely Father's Day gift

Meghans voice is very soothing and she did a phenomenal job reading the poem. However the reading of the actual poem was barely a minute and a half. (This complaint is for the publishers) the audio version is completely over priced. As for the book it self I don't feel like it is a children's book. it would make a lovely gift for expectant or new Father. I just don't feel like its aimed at children, its a lovely poem from a wife to her husband.

Beautiful

Congrats to Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry for the birth of their daughter.

The dedication was so lovely. As I listened to this audiobook, you can feel the love Meghan has for her husband and son. Her voice is soothing and engaging.

I haven't bought the book but I've heard wonderful things about the illustrations from Twitter and media appearance from the illustrator Christian Robinson. I've seen some of the pictures and Christian did an amazing job on the illustrations. I love that this story was not just about Harry and Archie but the bonds of different fathers and sons so everyone who reads the book can see themselves in it.

Great job Meghan.

A poem that will touch your heart

First of all, congrats to Meghan and Christian for this incredible book. Meghan voice is so smoothing and will calm the most turbulent child ^^ if you listen to this incredible audio book I suggest you to also read the physical one in the same time so you can appreciate the incredible watercolors of Christian. The inclusivity of different cultures, valid and non valid person is something I didn’t expect and is truly refreshing to see. This book is perfect also for learning English to your little child. The only negative thing in this book ? It’s so good that sadly it’s way too short ! I hope we will have a sequel to the bench ^^
