Dr. Leigh Culver loves practicing medicine in Timberlake, Colorado. It is a much-needed change of pace from her stressful life in Chicago. When Helen visits Leigh, she is surprised to find her niece still needs her, especially when it comes to sorting out her love life. But the biggest surprise comes when Leigh takes Helen out to Sullivan’s Crossing and Helen finds herself falling for the place and one special person.

Helen and Leigh will each have to decide if they can open themselves up to love neither expected to find and seize the opportunity to live their best lives.

This book surprised me. I loved every sentence of this book. Romantic, and funny, and fun.

While grounding each of the books in this series, Sully remained more in the background until this book. Now he gets a romance of his own with Auntie Helen, although the main story is about Helen’s niece, Leigh Culver. I’ve enjoyed Sully’s unique sense of humour all along, but loved his direct, but sage observations here. Therese Plummer has a great, instantly recognizable voice for Sully, that also contributes to his stealing the show. I’ve listened to it several times now, and enjoy it more and more each time.

Once again I feel the narrator made this audio book.
A story about loneliness, sadness and uncertainty. It takes a twist when all is resolved and the characters in this book find everything they needed in places they least expect it.

I’m hooked and can’t wait to start listening to more of Robyn Carr! Ive always been a fan of Therese Plummer and thought I’d try a Robyn Carr one while it was on sale. Definitely going to purchase more.
