Heitzig summarizes the events and message of each book in the Bible. He also provides some helpful commentary.

My biggest take-away from this fly over of the entire Bible was this. When we go through hard times, most people pray for them to end. But Heitzig reminds us that problems develop endurance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-5). Then he suggests a better prayer would be to ask God what He wants us to learn through the hard times. That's a hard thing to hear, but I knew in my heart that he was right.
