Publisher's Summary

The slayer has returned!

Using the power of his mighty familiars, Zander Darkblade has vanquished the imperious highlord, ending the threat to him and his friends and bringing honor to the Ravenflight guild.... Unfortunately, he still doesn’t have a way home.

Accepting that they may be stuck on Aetheria for good, Zander and company take to the roads, honing their skills, clearing dungeons, and adding familiars to their growing repertoire. They choose to embrace a life of adventure, living by the blade and enjoying all of the wonders that this strange new realm has to offer. But a new threat looms in the shadows, and a fated encounter awaits that may shake Zander to his core....

The Aether Gate Saga continues as darkness takes rise in Aetheria. The four great guilds wage war for control of a realm without a leader, and an ancient evil shows its face once more...an evil once powerful enough to slay the gods themselves.

Welcome back to Aether Gate Online. The best-selling litRPG series continues with its second installment, The Blade Guardian! More familiars, more transformations, and more high-stakes RPG action!

Book 2 reveals the secrets of the ravens guild and more

First off, LITRPG is a genre that is amazing, captivating and is taking over the fantasy genre fan base by storm. This is the 2nd in an amazing series. The players are trapped in the game and are dying in the world. They were told there was a way home. They just had to help the guild gain an ancient artifact. They were lied to. Nothing but pawns to an ancient evil that betrayed them as much as the one who trapped them in game. Now they are without a guild. Trapped in a game world they cannot escape. New allies will be met and lost. Discoveries of great note will be made. Tragedy will strike. New player classes will return to the game and the world will never be the same again. Great writing, phenomenal narration. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator or publisher

I have enjoyed this series so far

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I thought this was a great follow up to book 1. It is well executed and I enjoyed the narration. I definitely think this is a solid example of LitRPG. Worth checking out, in my opinion.

A better book

I don’t normally give reviews as I have a difficult time coming up with a way to convey my authentic opinion, but this book had me interested till the end. I’m excited to see where it goes.

story was ok but audio performance was not good

good litrpg, it doesnt go into the details as I usually like but it is passable. the take on the familiars is great. I listened to this through audiobook and have to safe the narrator ruin most of the story for me. I kept wishing for it to end. please get another person for the next book or else I'll skip it. :(
