I’ve read over 20 books by this author and this is one of my top 5. The characters are deep and interesting. The story moves at a nice pace and has some interesting plot twists.

This was my first time listening to this author. Although I did enjoy the story, about 3/4 of the way through I started to get bored, too much of the same at the restaurant I think. Anyway, I will read another of Elin H’s books, she is a solid storyteller, perhaps this just wasn’t the book for me. Also, the narrator was excellent!

I quite enjoyed this book and the narrator. Once I got into it, I couldn’t stop listening. The details allowed me to create my own movie in my mind. I liked the dynamic characters, the descriptions of food (these are always done well), and the overall story line. I was satisfied with the ending and was sad when this book ended - seemingly so quickly ! I sped up the narration to 1.4X and after that- I was hooked!
