I enjoyed that the main detective was not the depressed, drunk, slob etc type which is often the case with stories where the detective has lost wife or child. He rebuilt his life. The narrator’s voice was annoying, no modulation, very choppy without much inflection

Took much much too long to get interesting. the last 4% is actually good but definitely doesn't warrant the effort to get there. On finishing I immediately removed all DD Black books from my library.

Life is short, audiobooks are many. Pass this one.
