The Book Man

When Billy Whitebread clocked in that night, he was fully expecting to work a regular midnight shift at his decidedly unregular job. Unfortunately, things are rarely as they seem at Bonesaw Vic's Cryptozoological Gardens. Before long, Billy will find himself trapped in a briskly-paced nightmare that that takes him to the spirit world... and beyond.

After an unsettling encounter with Katherine the child poltergeist, Billy vows to expose the true identity of the Book Man, a serial killer who's been dead for over a century. If he succeeds, Katherine's murderer will receive his long-overdue justice in the spirit world, and Katherine will finally be released into the bliss of the afterlife.

But the Book Man is not an ordinary spirit. He serves a dark and powerful master, and he has no intention of ever facing judgement for his horrible crimes. In order to keep his place at his master's right hand, the Book Man's true identity must remain lost to time. He will do anything in his considerable power to keep it this way. Anything at all...
