'Amber's series breaks the rules in the best way. Her main character is strong, capable, and unapologetically powerful. There is no damsel here. This story is filled with fast-paced action, an in-depth world, and a romance that goes from simmer to boil. If you like romantasy, read this!' RAVEN KENNEDY

Don't miss this addictive BookTok sensation - a perfectly steamy, high-stakes, TRUE enemies-to-lovers, dark epic romantasy!

WHERE THERE ARE GODS, THERE ARE ALSO MONSTERS . . .

For a thousand years, the Etherworld has known peace.
Until now.

Many centuries ago, desperate to save her dying sister, Dianna made a deal with Kaden, a monster far worse than any nightmare. Locked in servitude to him, she is forced to hunt down an ancient relic held by her most dangerous enemies: an army led by Samkiel, the World Ender.

After the Gods War, Samkiel hid from everything, denying his crown and deserting his people. Now, an attack on those he loves sends him back to the realm he never wished to return to, and into the sights of an enemy he had hoped to forget.

With every world at stake, Dianna and Samkiel are forced to set aside their animosity and work together, before all is lost . . .

Don't miss the next books in the series, THE THRONE OF BROKEN GODS and THE DAWN OF THE CURSED QUEEN. . .

'A wicked ride from beginning to heart shattering end. Leaving me literally screaming for more. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to get more our morally corrupt heroine who you can't help but root for, along with the giggle inducing banter between her and the heroic god Samkiel' HANNAH NICOLE MAERHER

'Once in a while I read a series that reminds me of just why I love enemies to lovers, slow burn, and morally grey characters so much. Gods and Monsters is that series. This is perfection. Amber Nicole's Dianna is the FMC of my soul' NISHA J. TULI

I could not stop giggling at the grumpy old god and Dianna’s banter. I loved watching their relationship grow. This set up for the ending and next book was perfect. I was so excited to start the second book!

Loved it

the storyline was intriguing when reading the blurb. It was an okay storyline. the narration was VERY lack luster. The switching from character perspective was a little hard to keep interested in. I did start book 2 of the series and could not finish it. Beware don't waste a credit

I had high hopes.

I enjoyed that the main female was a tall strong female with attitude and I feel the narrator did an excellent job encapsulating her personality. Down side is when woman lower their voice when doing the man's part always makes the man sound a lot older than they're supposed to be. Over all I got use to it about halfway though and I really enjoyed the story line, looking forward to 2 & 3.

Badass female lead

The beginning was a bit slow and hard to get through. It took me a while. But once I got past that, I found I really enjoyed the story. The banter between the mcs was entertaining. The spice was very tame. And the plot really picks up towards the end. I love really memorable cliff hangers, and this story really delivered that. I found it a bit harder to follow this narrator and I’m not sure if it’s because it was just one female reading both POVs or not but I found myself having to slow down the speed. And my mind kept drifting so it took forever to finish. Personally I prefer two narrators if it’s dual. during some scenes I had difficulty following whose pov it was. If this is something you struggle with, reading it might be a bit easier for you. Overall I did enjoy this story and I will probably pick up the next one.

Interesting

I really like the book, and the narrator isn’t terrible. However, it is so hard to tell between characters. The first half of the book I kept having to replay just to figure out which character she was speaking for. It would’ve been better to have two narrators or better ‘accents’ for each character. I reluctantly purchased the second book, and if it is just as bad (narration wise) I don’t think I’ll continue the series, or I’ll have to find the paper copy.

Good book, bad choice of narrator for this title

the story is so intricate and entertaining throughout. you'll end liking the characters as you do real people- flaws and all.

the narrator was good, would have been better with an added male cast.

much character development

After seeing this book raved about over the various apps, I decided to give it a go. It was ultimately not worth it. The writing is subpar and felt like it bounced around a lot, focusing on odd aspects of characters. The narrator sounded bored half the time or juvenile and the “male” voices were rather laughable. All in all, not an enjoyable experience.

Incredibly boring
