Publisher's Summary

Dear Santa,

Please bring me a new boss for Christmas. Mine is the worst. The worst, hidden in a six-foot-tall package of male perfection. It’d be easier if he looked like an old Scrooge, wouldn’t it?

Nick Saint-Croix doesn’t look like an old scrooge. He’s hot as -

Um, never mind. Just bring me a new boss. Please.

Sincerely,
Holly Winter

Holly & Nick in audio, fantabulous!!

Holly hates her boss, Nick. Supposedly. It is more she hates that he's so hot she needs to hate him to keep him in the do not touch box.

She created an Advent calendar to reward herself for each day she survives his presence in her life, even.

Nick watches her with fascination. It all comes to a head when he tells her he is taking her on his business trip to Germany.

Holly's resistance is completely destroyed by the side of Nick she finds on this trip. Their steamy, funny, oh so ho-ho-holiday romance is so fun. And out loud? Even hotter and funnier.

Jana books are so fun in audio.

Loved it

I needed this book. Jolly ole Saint Nick was all-up-in-here . Have you ever read a Jana Aston book? They're hilarious and always just what you need. This one was a novella length and others have called it a "naughty Hallmark book" and I absolutely agree. Just enough delicious naughtiness mixed with holiday joy. It's boss/employee, enemies-to-lovers yumminess. Ho Ho Ho your way through this one, you won't regret it. There's two more in this series of novellas which are being released soon.

funny and cute

Great short story and I love the Christmas theme as I am a great believer of finding love around the magical season of Christmas! Jana Aston is known to me by the sense of humor she gives her characters, and I love everything she writes! And Erin Mallon is the perfect narrator as her manly voice is so gruff and sexy! The perfect combo!

The perfect Christmas novella!

Jana Aston and her humor.
I'm not usually a fan of holiday stories, but when it was pitched as a Hallmark movie meets sexy times, I was in.
Because, really, who doesn't love a Hallmark Christmas movie? The only disappointing thing about those movies is the insta-love and the extreme lack of good times. But I can handle it because I want a lot of sweet with my sappy holiday movies.
But I digress.
The Boss Who Stole Christmas is fun, sexy, swoony, and just the perfect blend of over the top holiday nonsense to make you feel like you fell into a snow globe. Or a Hallmark movie. Whichever.

And Nick Saint-Croix is the sexy boss you want to get dirty with. I mean, he takes her on a trip of a lifetime! And that first kiss? SA-WOOOOOON.

AHHHH!

The inner monologue drives me crazy! I thought my train of thought was all little wild but this girl's like a runaway train heading for a crash off a broken bridge. It's like a tape stuck on play. The story was ok but dang the main female is ridiculous but at least she knows it. Don't lisen to this story if you can't handle a frustrating train of thought.

Absolutely loved this one!

Absolutely loved this holiday themed novella. A bit of rom com, a dash of forbidden and hot chemistry will keep you hooked until the end. Erin Mallon’s narration is fantastic! Definitely worth the listen.

Oh, I wish this place were real

Christmas town oh how I love you.
Sexy sweet boss, marry me.
Holly, awesome funny girl who we can adore.

I am such a big fan of Jana Aston and Erin Mallon that I honestly had no clue what this was about when purchased. I clicked buy it as soon as I saw it on the new releases.

So, we have the very normal boss employee trope. They are both head over heels and have not a clue. I mean, it’s truly the norm there.

There are several things that make it unique. The things that give you insight into who they are. The things that make them special just draw you in until you are in love with the characters. Well as much as you can be. The books a couple hours long, ya know?

So-

Sexy times- very sweet and romantic
Hot boss- super check
Dickmas advant calendar- adorbs. I’m making one for all my single friends right as soon as I find my glue gun!

Happy holiday reading!!!

Excellent Christmas novella, perfect Erin Mallon!

Very cute short story/novella - been wanting to read (listen) to this one all year, but waited until December to make sure it was seasonally appropriate!

Book 1 is about Holly working for the Reindeer Falls main employer, a toy comany. The boss, Nick, is the definition of Scrooge.... young and hot, yes, but Scrooge. He has to go to Germany just before Christmas to meet with the company theirs is modeled after, and he decides at the last second that she has to go with him. You can probably guess how it ends because it’s a hot and steamy romance novella, and you’d be right!

This is the first Jana Aston book I’ve read and it was excellent! Very well written and left me wishing it was a full-length book instead of a novella! I’ll definitely be continuing the series and looking for more of her books. Book 2 in this series is about Holly’s sister Ginger and a gingerbread competition. Sign me up! I loved it! Especially so because it was narrated by my very favourite, Erin Mallon! It was the perfect novel to curl up with on a cold, migraine filled December Friday morning before Christmas.

I'm happy that because this was a short story and knowing it was just the start of the series, I have a whole lot more to look forward to and can return to Reindeer falls. I very much enjoyed the story and the characters and will absolutely continue on! Holly and Nick were very cute (and seasonally appropriately named), then Ginger in book 2 and Noelle in book 3.

Definitely worth a read but especially worth a listen! I got this one both on audio and e-book and could read & listen/whispersync.

No

To start off positive, the description of Nuremberg as spot on and Jana captured the spirit of the Christmas markets.

The character spent WAY too much of the short story in her head and talking to her self. Which made Erin use her breathless never ending sentences harder than normal to listen to. Bummer.
