No substance

I had to fast forward through the first 25 chapters. These first chapters did NOT describe how to ignite energy and focus, or attack illnesses and aging, or transform pain. But rather these first 25 chapters talked about what the Amen clinic can do for you. I could not listen past chapter 25. A VERY disappointing READ.

Life changing lecture.

The best health/wellbeing book I have ever encountered. Most important factor is, that it is not to late to change one's diet and eating habits at any age, to improve one's health and wellbeing. Thank you. 😊

Better books written on the same subject

Too much selling for a method that is free and available through many other means. The constant reiteration of how great this method is as a selling point placed a foul taste in my mouth immediately after starting. A book I'd recommend in this place is Mastery of LIfe by the great Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Great info, too much pitching.

I've been using this plan for 4 weeks, it's not easy. But it works and my blood pressure numbers have never been lower.

There is too much selling. It lacks real content.

I was 4 chapters into it and still no content. it reminds me of those click bait bloggers for "snake oil" advertisers

Step aside Dr Amen with the narrating

this book is very informational but Dr Amen needs to step aside when it comes to the narration. I couldn't get through the entire book because of the doctors monotone descriptions. I'm usually not harsh with reviews but if you're going to listen to this book you need to take in consideration the narrator.

Big Disappointment

What disappointed you about The Brain Warrior's Way?

This is by far the worst self improvement book I have ever read/heard. I was looking forward to actually learn how I can make positive changes. After the first 3 minutes I kept forwarding to the next chapter, and the next. Halfway through the book the author and his wife were still discussing the benefits of the 'Brain Warriors Way' and how it helped them.I found this book a complete waste of time. They never got to the point were they gave instructions to follow.

Sometimes the listing of foods was a little boring so it lost me , but overall what a wise, eyeopening and very informative read! I will keep this on my device and listen multiple times!!!!! Fantastic information! And be sure to visit the website,! Very useful

magnificent book

This book changed my commitment to eat healthy

Eating healthy requires will power and commitment. Dr. Amen has inspired me to make that commitment. I can walk past free doughnuts or even cheese cake. I've lost 30 pounds in 6 months and that was not my reason for making the changes. If you eat for brain health, you will see improvement in all areas of your health. Best of all, you don't have to give up good food to do it. All you have to do is give up the taste good foods that are bad for you. You also don't have to eat less, all you have to do is choose to eat foods that nourish your body.
