What the critics say

"It's not the Bible you swear on, but many an ex-wife may find herself swearing by The Breakup Bible." ( Chicago Tribune)

This title should have stated that it was written exclusively for women, as if the heartache if breakups don't equally affect men. It may contain done redeeming qualities in there somewhere, but it was so clearly written to the exclusion of men that I couldn't listen to more than one chapter. She claims to have focused on being as"inclusive" as possible", which meant it was written for many different people experiencing the torment of breakups, but only as long as you're female. Disgusting.

I can see how this book would be helpful for some people, but if you already have good emotional awareness, if you've done therapy and know your traumas and attachment style, and generally have healthy lifestyle habits, this book may not tell you anything new.

Sort of just common sense
