This was misery lit masquerading as a mystery/thriller. I didn't hate it- the plot was actually very interesting, and the writing was fine, but wow, it was relentlessly grim. Anything awful that could happen to a person...

Loved this book and the first book by this author, the "Dead Key". I like that the characters are not perfect and that it reveals the story going back and forth between the past and present
