There's a reason that every book in this series has 5 stars across the board.
If I was only allowed to have one series on Audible, it'd be Dungeon Crawler Carl.
If I was only allowed to ever listen to one reader, it'd be Jeff Hays.
If a new book in this series was on pre-order for six years from now, I would buy it.
You will never regret a Dungeon Crawler Carl book.

Starting with the amazing characters, the plot and the god tier narration from Jeff Hays. Not only this series but this book is am easy top 3 book for me.
At the time of this comment I have listened to over 300 audible books and even more on kindle. Buy the book, you won't regret it!

A Masterpiece

I got into LIRRPG a couple years ago and like them but they all have something in common, they start to lean into a single move a couple of books in and it gets worse the further the story goes. Carl and Donut are different! I feel like they keep coming up with new ridiculous and awesome ways to beat the villains. The story is simultaneously hilarious and heart wrenching. The characters are so human and believable. And though I usually abhor foul language in books because it is usually a cheap way to make your characters seem "cool", I find it is actually perfectly fitting and used perfectly for effect.

Dungeon Crawler Carl keeps getting better and better. I can't wait for the next book in the series, and while I wait, I think I'm going to have to listen to the entire series again!!
