Publisher's Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

A hilarious fantasy, perfect for ages seven and up, by master storyteller Terry Pratchett - the first book he ever wrote!

In the beginning, there was nothing but endless flatness. Then came the Carpet....

That's the old story everyone knows and loves (even if they don't really believe it). But now the Carpet is home to many different tribes and peoples and there's a new story in the making.

The story of Fray, sweeping a trail of destruction across the Carpet, and two brothers, who set out on an adventure to end all adventures.

Very well done

I am a fan of the late Sir Terry Pratchett because of his discworld books. So I decided to try this book, his first book. There are evident parts that just scream Terry Pratchett and his sense of humor. That said, there are some parts that felt tedious. The narrator, however, was one of my favorite ones that I have come across. He did an excellent job. Overall, it is a decent book, and while it is not at the top of my recommendations, I do not regret spending the time I did on it.
