Story
Morgan Atkins is used to losing, but losing Messiah Williams was the most tragic of them all. Surely, after Messiah, no other man could compare. Settling with Sebastian Fredrick didn't seem like such an impossible task. He treated her well enough, he accepted her children, and he offered her entrance into a well-connected world. There was only one problem: He wanted to change her into someone else. The rules that went along with his lifestyle suffocated her, and when Morgan reconnected with Messiah's crew, she no longer wanted to play by Bash’s rules.

Smh..not expected!
Is there anything you would change about this book?
Well I'll start off by saying this they had the kids ages all mixed up, it didn't really add up the ages of the kids, then the part where the women had went to Saudi Arabia to get there men the story just jumped right into that, one min they were in the limo next Mia More was in Carters bed. I thought my audio had skipped a chapter. Oh and why did they bring Murder back didn't he die in the other book??
If you’ve listened to books by Ashley & JaQuavis before, how does this one compare?
This was awful compared to the other books they have wrote! I was very disappointed! I waiting so long for this book, I want my money back!
What does Cary Hite bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Carey Hite is Amazing as Always.
Did The Cartel 5 inspire you to do anything?
Not at all, well actually it inspired me to not want to read another book by Ashley & Jaquavis.
Any additional comments?
Why! Why was this book out out for? Was it just rushed because the fans wanted or maybe they should finally just end the Cartel with one last book. Don't get me wrong I love the Cartel series but this last book put a bad taste in my mouth I'm disappoint. My book club all had bad things to say about this book as well. Jesus Take The Wheel

OMG,,,,
Would you listen to The Cartel 5 again? Why?
Well I wouldn't say I'll listen to the Cartel 5 again. The only way that I would is to remember parts from Cartel 5 when I listen to the Cartel 6.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Cartel 5?
Well let's see, I like the part where Mia and Carter get's married before he takes his bid. I also like the part where Aries and Breeze came to an agreement about the roles they would play. I love how the ladies held there men down through the jailtime. Really though Mia, Fly Boogie. This lil young dude was obessed with her. Whatever Carter has planned for him in the next audio, I'm so ready to hear it, make it a good one Ashley and JaQuavis. Carter Jones better not die. I like what he said about if anybody have to die,it should be him, that's a real man moment. I like Monroe and his son's man talk moment. Monroe definately is a real stand up dude, he took his seat right beside Carter's bed. Zyir and Breeze, the newly weds, I love those two. I think their story line should be brought out more.
Which character – as performed by Cary Hite – was your favorite?
Of course my favorite character is Mia, murder momma. She held her man down. Even though Carter initiated a war by sleeping with Yasmine, that's a crazy chick, she just didn't know who Carter wife really was, why throw yourself at a man that doesn't really want you, know the difference between a booty call and love. Well I hope it was to die for, poor poor Yasmine. Carter, Carter, Carter stay away from the pretty daughters of your partners, why fall for the oldest trick in the book, even though I have mad respect for him doing it before he married Mia. But Mia Mia, what have you done, how are you going to get everybody out of this one. I like the way she just get right to the business, a bad bad murder momma. Mia what are you going to do with all these men, because only one can be Carter Jones, and what was the point of Murder coming back, kill him off already, he is a non factor.
Any additional comments?
Asyley and JaQuavis please do not make us wait 2 years for this book. You guys need to really get it together. Yes I was upset because I bought the book from Amazon and never got it. That was really messed up, when they finally send the book, I guess it will be someone's gift, since I have heard it already. When you're doing a series you shouldn't make your fans wait years for the next book. It was such a long wait, I could barely remember what happen in Cartel 4. That is not necessary to make your fans wait. You two are great authors, you will forever have fans. I would listen to every book you guys put out, just stop with these long waits. I'm not saying rush the books, it shouldn't take two years. Please hurry, I'm so excited.

time for the get away
I think it was so cool how Carter, Money, and Ziere planned their escape by using their private jet. I didn’t see that one coming. It caught me by surprise when the narrator said they found a piece of the wing in the ocean. They paid the pilot to get off the radar so they could not be tracked. I thought they were dead. I had no earthly idea that they were going to live in a life of dynasty in Saudi Arabia. I hate that Carter cheated on Miamore. I can understand they were trying to beat a federal charge and could not come back to the U.S, but he did not have to sleep with yasmine. I just felt like he was a dog for that. Miamore, Lena, Aeries, and Breeze were taking care of the empire and handling everything like the boss ladies that they are. I did not like how the men disrespected them after they held everything down with the casino and all other businesses. I did not like that Miamore allowed “Fly-goody” kiss her on the lips and she did not do anything about it. I understand if you spend a lot of time with a nice looking coworker/staff there can be a physical and mental attraction. I know I would have drawn the line from jump street. I really respected Lena for not flirting with Thomas Odom. I like how she stuck to the plan to get the money. I really loved this book. This is a most definite read. It is like a soap opera with a lot of action that doesn’t have any commercials.

DID'NT DISAPPOINT!
La Bella MAMA'S, wow I thought the murder mama's were bad, this new group of chicks ain't playing around, all I can say about book (5) is buyer beware, It was pretty hard not to listen to the entire audio in one day. I've purchased the entire series, and they were well worth the expense, Cary Hite narrated them all, and was the perfect voice behind each character. hope to hear more from the Carter's. great job.

The narrator should put excitement in the reading.
The female parts should be read by a woman, it would be more affective. The narrator should also change his voice so it's a very noticeable difference between characters.

Same ole, same ole
I only keep reading because I want to know how it ends! I'm sick of everybody dying and coming back and the same thing over and over! The story should have ended when they all died the first time. Even though I'm over this series, I have to know how it ends. So when does the next part come out?? lol
