Narrated by Kelsey Grammar!

It's hard to go wrong with Dr. Seuss, especially a classic like this read by Kelsey Grammar. Very enjoyable.

Same great story with music and sfx!

I didn't even realize it was Kelsey Grammer narrating. it was so much fun to listen to period makes me think of when my son was little and wanted to hear it hundreds of times a day if I would.

if only it was Audio+visual!!

buying an relatively expansive item, you can expect a little more.
I wish it will have the combination of the regular reading book with the excellent audio performance.

Grandson gave it five stars

My grandson, Tommy, love this book. We listened to it on a long trip to my house. And, that's all I could want.

Dr. Seuss is still a favorite!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Cat in the Hat to be better than the print version?

no.

What other book might you compare The Cat in the Hat to and why?

none.

What does Kelsey Grammer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Hie voice is very expressive of the mood and excitement of the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The first line always gets me!

Any additional comments?

Has it ever been considered to have pictures that follow the story? I think with children's books it would keep a little one's attention longer.

Loved Grammer, not the music

Loved hearing Grammer, but the background music was annoying, which I think ruins the timelessness of the reading. My 6 year old asked me to turn it off. Pretty disappointed, but again, only because of the background noise.

So adorable

I wish I had read this book when I was a kid. Anyway I'm so happy today to know more English and understand it.

subtext

I love this book, and have since I was a little kid. It amazes me how many people completely miss the subtext of this story. "What would you do? If your mother asked you?"
