Hilarious take on immigration with cross-cultural, racial and other diversity themes. Just a great story that moves at a good pace and never becomes dull due to the many twists and turns. The narrator does a great job with all the characters. Loved the protagonist Shelley with his universal optimism and overall good heart although he did tell the odd white lie. I'm wondering if this book would make a good screenplay. Very feel-good overall if you're seeking light relief after some depressing or more challenging audiobooks.
