Publisher's Summary

In his debut novel, Tim Slover offers the real story behind Santa Claus, separating fact from legend and revealing the truth behind many long-held secrets: Why did Santa start making toys for children? Does he really climb down the chimney? How did he and Mrs. Claus meet? And most important, how is he able to deliver gifts to children all over the world in one night?

A yearly tradition

I read or listen to this every year. It's a favourite of mine and I always find it lifts my spirits. Whimsical and heart warming.

In the aftermath of the black death Klaus goes around his village asking "What have you lost? What have you lost that I can help?" This is a story of the magic in helping others and sharing good cheer.
