A Well Written Short Story

I needed a quick and interesting book while vacationing and I found it with The Collector. Bruno does a great job of both character and world building in the limited number of pages in this book. We’re first introduced to “the collector” and we find a little bit about him and his mission.

Once into the mission we’re quickly shown around the world and introduced to some of the main points in future Children of Titan novels. His missions is to basically capture someone who has run away. What he ends up finding is much darker than that.

It’s hard to write long-winded reviews of short stories – but just know, if you’re a fan of good science fiction, Bruno, or RC Bray – you’ll enjoy The Collector.

Excellent short!

The Collector is another great short in the Children of Titan series! This gives a little side story about Malcolm Graves, the collector. After listening to this, I understood a short conversation Malcolm had in book 3. Definitely an excellent addition to the series! As always, Mr Bray does a fantastic job with the narration!

Great addition to an excellent new series

This book can be listened to at anytime. It truly doesn't matter if you listen to it before listening to the series. I highly recommend this new series. Excellent writing and with the best narrator out there.

Interplanetary Horror at Its Finest

Dystopian sci-fi master, Rhett C. Bruno, dishes out a solid prequel to Titanborn in this quick little short-story. This time, he treats us to a tender tale of interplanetary bounty-hunter, Malcom Graves, as he totes his 10-year-old daughter about the solar system. This lasts about tens minutes, of course, before Malcom stumbles onto a bevy of horrors dredged out of the darkest hole of plausible sci-fi futures coming soon to a reality near you. The story is chilling as it is provocative, especially when it picks up full steam midway for a plunge straight into a nightmare form hell. Enjoy!

Side Job

This was a really awesome short listen. For less than the price of a cup of joe, we get a peek into who Malcolm used to be. Spoiler: he’s the same damn badass.

Excellent Prequel Book

I really felt this was a well done prequel book and will get the next book in this series. Story about a man who is (basically like a bounty hunter for rich corporations in future. This character has a young daughter who he takes with him on his missions cause he is hiding her.

Tired, stale and hackneyed

This underwhelming potato could have been written in the '80's. Couldn't get past chapter 3.
