No TOC
Another Audible book without without a proper table of contents. So sad. So lazy. So frustrating.

Good collection, bad editing, bad American accent
I liked these stories. It took me a few to get into them and I would often get confused between one story ending and another beginning which I solved by always adding a sleep timer to end at the end of the chapter. The reader is pretty good but there are some weird jumps and repeats in the editing and he has a pretty bad American accent. Overall, I liked that the same reader reads all of the stories.

Great stories ruined by narrator
This narrator shouts the words at the listener like a drill sergeant, with no wit or charm or twinkle which is needed for these warm stories. Suggest buying a different version.

Not quite what I was hoping for
I enjoy the series but found the reading rather dry and dull. I guess I just had my heart set on feeling the same enjoyment I do of the TV series.

Good but not Great
While GKC is deserving of many accolades, writing not the least, writing murder mysteries are not that which elevates him above the common and on occasion, juvenile and even vulgar. AC Doyle sets the standard, peaks the interest, holds the attention, and leaves the reader desiring more.

Father Brown is as charming here as he is anywhere. A wonderful rendition of much told mysteries makes them feel new again. Worth the time and money!

I'm a Father Brown Super-fan
Loved the Narrator (spot on) and could likely listen to Stephen S. read practically anything. I actually enjoyed these stories more than the PBS Series with one very disturbing issue. I had to recall that the author wrote these rather a long time ago because not only were there racially offensive words on occasion but a hint of the sentiment as well. It took me quite aback and I considered dropping off it altogether. But I reminded myself that the author was naturally one more wretched victim of that era's ignorant racial biases.
That aside I truly appreciate the artistry of Chestertons' description of both scenes and characters, Father B's wit and odd sense of humor and ethical view of every case. Like I said I'm a Super-fan!

Not charming like the show.
The quality of the recording is bad. Many skips or technical problems. Also, this is not a charming audiobook. Nothing like the show.
