Loved JDJohns pre-forward in this edition. I also liked all the contextual extras and lecture/discussions included in these audibles. This is more then just the stories.... it's also an peak into the scholarship that surrounds Lovecraft's work.

Perfect for the Lovecraft completist, this includes every story, poem, and collaboration as well as a forward for each work explaining the context surrounding its content and publication.
Without trying to excuse his opinions, the narrator lays out H.P. Lovecraft's life and career while providing an excellent performance of each character throughout the chtulu mythos and more.

it's nearly impossible to find any actual stories here, not user friendly at all and difficult to navigate. narrator was boring and the discription of the book was misleading as to how much of his commentary would be tacked onto the beginning and end of each story.
