Publisher's Summary

Michael J. Sullivan garnered critical raves and a massive readership for his Riyria Revelations series. The first book in his highly anticipated Riyria Chronicles series of prequels, The Crown Tower brings together warrior Hadrian Blackwater with thieving assassin Royce Melborn. The two form a less-than-friendly pairing, but the quest before them has a rare prize indeed, and if they can breach the supposedly impregnable walls of the Crown Tower, their names will be legend.

Ended Too Soon

Definitely loved this book. Pretty sure U already own The Rose and Thorn. Time to load it onto my phone. While the story does end in a sufficient completion I want to know more.

Enjoyable adventure fair

Tim Gerard Reynolds delivers his usual excellent performance in this interesting fantasy adventure fair.

This installment introduces us to two very different characters and leaves you wanting to know where the path they have been set in will end.

Brilliant

Captivating…. Fast paced. Great characters. Narration is great and voices match the personalities of the characters. Just an all around wonderful experience.

So Good

I have started the Riyria storyline with this novel. This book is so well written and I love the interaction between Royce and Hadrian. The narrator is excellent and moves effortlessly through the many characters. So don’t miss out on a book as good as the Game of Thrones.

Excellency

i read this book beafore and thought it was great. then i got into audio books and i decided to give it a listen. not dissapointed. i loved the book the second time through again. the reader did a wonderful job, he has a good voice and character range. a few characters didnt sound the way i heard it in my head but thats alright. would reccomend to anyone who enjoys a good story. it sort of scratches that D&D itch too if thats what your into.

All the feels

I’m fairly new to Audible. I listened to the last three books of this series not realizing that there was a vast history. I’m starting at the beginning, now. This was a great book with fabulous characters and an absolutely amazing narrator. I highly recommend it. Now I’m on to book two. ❤️

Can't wait to dive into the next one!!

Tim is one of the best Narrators, if not the best. I'm not sure I would be this much of a fan of Sullivan if it wasn't for Tim.

Great book, as expected from Sullivan and Reynolds

Very enjoyable even though the main story is pretty much known from the other series

Good read

Finished the original three novels first, unnecessary, but I think gives more depth and love to the story.

Story Builds too Slow

The story builds too slow for my taste and the climax isn't very captivating either. Definitely not my cup of tea.
