Publisher's Summary

A new update arrives to the ultra-popular online game, Realm of Arkon. With Patch 17, the level of immersion experienced by players in their gaming capsules has made virtual reality indistinguishable from the real world. But every gamer's dream becomes a nightmare for Roman Kozhevnikov after he gets confined to Arkon against his will. And not just to Arkon, but to its deadliest zone - Demon Grounds. Playing - or rather living - as his character Krian, it's not just about survival for Roman. He longs to exact revenge for his banishment to the virtual world where the sensation of pain has reached 100 percent...

Another LitRPG to the Series

Great audio book with Zach Villa again at the helm, he does another great job. This is another addition to the LitRPG book series. Well Georgy didn't tone back on the flash backs it seems, minus one star for that annoyance. Its a good listen still.

A slap togeather mess.

Any additional comments?

This story has promise but the story jumps around so randomly if you don't dedicate ALL of your attention to it you will find yourself completely lost in five seconds. When he actually decides to allow his characters to have character building conversations it is good. However most of the time the author cuts it short so many times I am almost convinced this is an abridged version. If you read the first book and wanted to know if it would get better in the second PASS.

its okay

not my favorite litrpg but not bad. the part that annoys me the most is that the first 80% of the book has one main character and the last 20% switches.

good story, meh audio

Really like the story and characters, sometimes the narrators characters sound too much alike and he mispronounces several words. If that sort of thing bothers you like it does me then it will take away from the overall experience like it did for me. I would still recommend reading this book, and the audible is ok if that's the only way you have time to read books currently.

Totally enjoyed.

I felt that Roman was becoming a little OP in this one but since he is the only one in the area I guess the levels would pile up. I'm also enjoying the switch over to Max for a change of pace although I would have liked to hear more about the skills choices his group would choose. Now to start the next one.

Great story. Narrator would be good, too, except..

It's like the narrator gets a bonus every time he mispronounces a word. Is there an audie award for most nonstandard pronunciations? It's a shame, because I like his voice and his characterizations. It's just that it's like a little electric zap every time he fumbles an easy word.

Great Series! My 2nd Read Thru in 3 years.

Easily worth the Credits. Very Talented Narrator & Translator. Banter is Hilarious in spite of a few odd idioms & word pronunciations. Characters are super appealing. Don"t miss this.
