Story
Almost every religion, spiritual practice, philosophy and person grapples with fear. The most repeated phrase in the Bible is “Be not afraid.” The ancient Greeks spoke of phobos, panic and terror. It is natural to feel fear, the Stoics believed, but it cannot rule you. Courage, then, is the ability to rise above fear, to do what’s right, to do what’s needed, to do what is true. And so it rests at the heart of the works of Marcus Aurelius, Aristotle, and CS Lewis, alongside temperance, justice, and wisdom.

Chapter Mismatch
Chapter mismatch exist. Please inform the publisher to fix the chapter misalignment. As far as I'm concerned, for this book chapter markers are important. I have sent a request by email but audible team didn't want to spend their time to find the very obvious mistake. I really don't want to return the book, so please fix this asap.

Another load of crap
This is just another book trying to condition you into behaving like everyone else. What a bunch of hot garbage. It tells you that even if you superior is insecure and has an ego because you are going your job really well, to still pretend you are less smart. This is cooperate 101 junk
Its crazy how people just mold themselves to their surroundings and even write books to tell others to do the same.
Couldn't continue listening to this junk.

Chapters are Busted
I've always loved Robert Greene's work, and I was excited to receive this audiobook. However, the chapter markers in audible aren't synced to the beginning of each daily entry, making it nearly impossible to listen to as the writer and performer intended. If Audible were to fix this, I'd happily change my review, but as it stands now I'm out a credit and likely to spend more money on the book itself. Really disappointed in this one.

Huge Disappointment. Giant mish mosh
If you are new to Robert Greene's work, this will be a good book...it still is a good book. However, what he did here was simply sloss all his previous books into one book and that makes the book a great disappointment.
He got the "daily" term from Ryan Holiday who is a total hack and plagiarizer of Greene's previous works for his stoicism snake oil. He did this book to make a quick buck which is TOTALLY out of character for Robert.
Having followed Robert for the past ten years, overall this book is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I was waiting all year for this. This is making me nervous if his next book, Law of the Sublime, is going to be a bomb.

This review is about the audio recording
Robert Greene is a brilliant researcher, writer, and storyteller but whoever produced this audio book screwed up. My wife and I tried to follow each days lesson as the introduction suggests. However each day chapter does not start with a lesson. They start in mid-sentence and after a few sentences, we get to the lesson. And then the narrator reads the footnotes like what other Robert Greene book these lessons are from. This is not pleasant for listening at all and no thought was put into the experience for the listener. I'm going to buy this book and try to get a refund for the Audible version.

Great combination
This book is highly unique; it takes one lesson per day and examines it with all of Robert Greene's books, short, simply to the point. I recommend all his books. This, however, is great for a daily reminder and a great way to help combine all his lessons that overlap in his different books, incredibly innovative and creative, can't wait for the sublime.

The book was great. The chapters, not so much.
Unless it was something with my particular download to my phone, the chapters cuts aren’t aligned properly. This means that maybe the last 20-25% of chapters start and stop in the middle of a chapter. Wouldn’t mean much if you’re just reading straight through but this presents and ugly problem when to go back for something specific.
Other than that, it’s another Robert Greene masterpiece.
