The storyline was lovely and plausible til the end. In a time when titles, heirs and virginity were everything at the end there is no mention of it when they find her. A woman whom had been traumatized and beaten and quite surely raped would not have been receptive to the romantic notion of getting married and consummating a marriage, Possibly having an heir that wasn’t her husband’s to inherit the title. Although I do recall the mention of the doctor saying all was fine. In any event I have been enjoying her books and will complete reading the series. I am Rosa btw not my son whose account I borrowed to listen to a few books.😊

the Narrator, Jessica, is awesome to listen to but when she uses her 'Duncan' voice she's so quiet that I have to turn the sound up to hear 'him'
this is the only reason for 3 stars for performance

loved the Bridgerton style the intrigue and romance are very similar
