À propos de cet audio

A breathtaking exposé that reads like a thriller, The Day After Roswell is a stunning depiction of just what happened in Roswell, New Mexico all those years ago and how the effects of this mysterious unidentified aircraft crash are still relevant today.

Former member of President Eisenhower’s National Security Council and the Foreign Technology Desk in the United States Army, Colonel Philip J. Corso was assigned to work at a strange crash site in Roswell in 1947. He had no idea that his work there would change his life and the course of history forever. Only in his fascinating memoir can you discover how he helped removed alien artifacts from the site and used them to help improve much of the technology the Army uses today, such as circuit chips, fiber optics, and more.

Laying bare the United States government’s shocking role in the Roswell incident—what was found, the cover-up, and more—The Day After Roswell is an extraordinary memoir that not only forces us to reconsider the past, but also our role in the universe.

Sink your teeth into this!

The Military testimony that admits the invention of Kevlar, Fiber Optics, Lasers, the Silicon Chip, Night Vision and more came from the materials found at the Roswell crash.

The stance of the Military was and still is that Extraterrestrials are Universally Hostile and here to study and harvest us (silly)

That we won a silent Cold War, during our Cold War with the Soviets versus these EBEs by reverse engineering E.T technologies into counter weapons that can track and hit their Space Craft and detur them from coming into our air space and starting something

As a Contact experiencer myself, I find it laughable to determin all E.Ts are Evil. But I sympathise when viewed through the lense of the Military that any intelegence that crossed Boarders without authorization or seeming ability to stop them, it is immediately determined a threat, an act of war, a decleration of hostility. That is just how they operate.

Read this Book, Listen to it.

This is one of the most important books you may ever come across!

Amazing For CE-5rs to Understand the Military side

Not many book got the roswell incident explained. This read was eyes opening. Its a real behind the scene of what happen before, during and after roswell and the impact of it all. One of the best read out there !

Wow

Quite a story. I’m not sure if he is as influential in historic events as he says, but even if half of this is true, it is quite a story.

The writing isn’t excellent but I dare say if you’re interested in this sort of thing that doesn’t matter much. He repeats himself a lot, and it isn’t until Chapter 8 that you really get into the meat of the subject matter, but he brings up a lot of interesting points and mentions a lot of official and believable sounding sources. If you have an interest in US military history and technology you’ll love it.

Pretty interesting if it’s true!

the u.s. government lied about aliens while at the same were using alien technology to benefit and kill mankind.

aliens are real.

Every now and then there's a book that goes far beyond expectations. "The Day After Roswell" could be titled "Roswell: how captured alien technology changed the 20th Century". This is more like a comprehensive alternate history of everything we are taught about the world after WWII. Just like how we see Forest Gump show up in every major historical event if we look closely, Corso's account sheds a different light on nearly all technological inventions and Cold War conflicts. Everything from Kevlar (bullet-proof vests), computer chips, fibre optics and lasers were ideas sparked by trying to reverse engineer captured technology. If we're to believe everything he says, the Cold War involved a threat from extraterrestrials. The MAD arms race and EMP bursts were as much to dissuade alien craft from invading the planet. Not just a story, but a vast alternate history that would take years to invent or even just to write down assuming it's all true. The military initially feared disclosure would lead to a "War of the Worlds" type panic. But also, due to the fact that Rosweel was on par with the Manhattan Project in terms of secrecy, without a time when it could finally be revealed, the whole thing took on a life of its own. Besides, nobody would ever believe it.

Far beyond the Roswell crash

This book is excellent! The definitive book on the Roswell incident. I would recommend listening to this book then listening to Witness to Roswell. Very compelling stories and evidence in both books.

Fantastic!

This is a fairly interesting, fairly well written book. Unfortunately, I don't believe any of it.

Firstly, this book discusses extraterrestrials. By definition, these are beings that come from another solar system. Any civilisation able to travel the vast distances between stars would be thousands or millions of years ahead of us, both intellectually and technologically. The idea of finding lasers and fibre optics in such an alien craft is absurd. Further, the author even discusses how much of the technology discussed was already in development. Given that, it's clear that alien wreckage was never necessary for these modern day inventions.

Secondly, the book is less about the aliens themselves, and much more about the internal machinations of the US military in keeping this a secret, while at the same time exploiting the technology found in the crash. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's not was I was looking for or expecting.

Finally, the book asserts that the US is not only responsible for inventing pretty much every major modern technology, but is also the saviour of the world. Although this isn't unexpected (given that it was written by a US army officer), it's still rather annoying and gets old fast.

Overall, a nice little read (or listen). Just don't take it too seriously.

Interesting, but....
