À propos de cet audio

When a young woman predicts a murder, she finds herself the center of a witch hunt....

1790, England: When Lord Francis and Lady Ottilia Fanshawe's coach breaks down, they find themselves stranded in the village of Witherley.

But Ottilia, the intrepid "Lady Fan," finds her curiosity piqued when she hears of a local murder.

A young woman predicted the gruesome death of the village blacksmith. And he was killed exactly as described....

Is the young woman predicting the future? Are the villagers right to call her a witch?

Or is there an even more sinister explanation?

Story was good, but the plot developed with so much dialogue that it got boring and I also got characters mixed up a lot. I prefer a quicker pace in activity. I did enjoy the main character, and the narration was excellent.

It was far longer than it needed to be.

The second story in the Lady Fan series nicely develops the characters and the plot itself is quite the stickler!

Great story; thank you!

so disappointed!!!

I read book 1 after a series of horrible female lead detective books, and I was quite impressed. Then we have this drivel and I instantly think the author used a ghost writer or was under too much pressure to come up with a new book; therefore we get this one.

This was absolute nonsense and a complete waste of my time. All the aspects of book 1 are replaced with Francis singing her praise at every turn and her trying to placate everyone when they get emotional.

Each chapter was like 35 minutes long, and I found myself wanting to DNF it at chapter 4.

Ugh!
