Publisher's Summary
Baseball analyst is thrown a curveball when she is whisked back in time....
And one of those curveballs is thrown by a blue-eyed pitcher!
ESPN baseball analyst Amy Spalding is swept back in time by a magical brooch and finds herself in 1909 New York City. With only the clothes on her back, a phenomenal memory for New York Giants players and stats, and a brooch that won't take her back home, she does what she has to do, pawns her jewelry.
When New York Times best-selling author Jack Mallory discovers Amy in the background of the iconic photograph of Ty Cobb kicking up a cloud of dirt as he slides hard into third base, Jack along with Kevin Allen, JL O'Grady, Connor O'Grady, and Pete Parrino launch a rescue mission to return Amy to the present before her boyfriend goes on trial for her murder.
Can the time travelers hold out against stalkers, PTSD, phobias, and failing relationships long enough to find a thief and recover the stolen diamond brooch so they can all go home? And can Jack and Amy find the soul mate of their dreams on a voyage of lost hopes and new beginnings?

Thank you for Chapter 27
Have very much enjoyed this series. I had to start keeping a flow chart to remember the pairings and the adventures but thanks for chapter 27 it helped fill in the gaps in my chart. Character development is on point and it provides a new way of looking at different times in history and makes you think. I have come to observe that there are quite a few things that happen in 'Foyers' Just a little pet peeve on pronunciation for me as I cringe every time I hear it. Of course that is the narrator's choice and otherwise I find her easy to listen to.....but stick to narration and please don't sing again

Enjoying the series
I have been hooked on this series and I listened to the Diamond brooch in about a week, I couldn't stop I felt intrigued and drawn in to the story. I found the steamy sex scenes stimulating. I enjoyed the travel which I am missing because of COVID, and I found the characters like friends whom I wanted to know more about. It is a very entertaining and escape process within the stories. I would recommend them.

Latest Celtic Brooch Story hit it out of the park!
Katherine Lowry Logan, weaves a story that involves a wonderful tale of baseball, redemption, time travel and love that overcomes all obstacles. It will keep you on the edge of your seat, laughing and becoming sentimental with both familiar and new characters in this latest in the series of an evolving extended family clan. I read the book, loved the story and then listened to Teri Schnaubelt's talented voice of many varied ages, dialects, genders bring this story to another dimension of life. If you like great character development, complex plots you will love this story and all in the Celtic Brooch series!

Wow
The books in this series just get better and better. The narration was fantastic. I will definitely be getting the next book in the series when it becomes available. If you haven’t listened to any of the others, you might want to start with the first book in the series, The Ruby Brooch!

Not the best in the Brooch series
Baseball is not my sport and there was way too much baseball language and strategy for my liking. However, the overall story was good, and Teri, to use a baseball term, knocked this one out of the field. She was magnificent!!! Now she adds Italian to her repertoire of voices; and the singing was incredible. Overall a great story, just too much baseball.

Another Great Brooch Story!
What did you love best about The Diamond Brooch?
The Diamond Brooch show all the things that go on in big families. This book has drama, love, and some history. When Amy ends up in 1909 she finds a way to survive. Thank goodness for the Diamond Brooch.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The intrigue does keep you on the edge of your seat. I love that the family seems to always travel First Class. It is great to read how that class lived especially in 1909.
Have you listened to any of Teri Schnaubelt’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Teri Schnaubelt always delivers an A+ performance. She is one of my favorite narrators.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I did want to listen to this all in one sitting. The author and narrator keep you guessing so you want to hear the next chapter to see what is going to happen.
Any additional comments?
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review..

Best Book in The Celtic Brooch Series!
If you enjoy reading and listening to heart-racing action adventure novels with a little bit of time-travel romance thrown into the mix, the Celtic Brooch series is for you! Katherine Lowry Logan writes compelling stories with well-developed characters and a family dynamic that is truly outstanding. The 7th book in the series, The Diamond Brooch, picks up about a year after The Three Brooches ends, wherein Jack Mallory really screwed up and put the entire family in danger after he met – and lost – the supposed love of his life (he still hasn’t forgiven himself for it).
Trying for a bit of redemption, Jack and few family members travel back to early 1900’s New York City to rescue ESPN baseball analyst Amy Spalding after Jack discovers Amy in the background of the iconic photograph of Ty Cobb. They need to return Amy to the present before her boyfriend goes on trial for her murder. However, Amy is no longer in possession of the brooch that brought her to the past because she pawned it so she could afford to live. When she attempts to retrieve it, she finds out that the brooch was stolen. The rest of the story is trying to locate the brooch, as well as Jack and Amy’s struggle to resist the power of the brooch (they keep denying that they are each other’s soul mate).
All of the Celtic Brooch books are narrated by Teri Schnaubelt, who does an amazing job narrating these lengthy novels. She uses differing voices for male and female characters and uses varying accents. It is the longest book I listened to this year running at over 20 hours; yet, I never felt like the story was drawn out unnecessarily because the story moves at a face pace and it packs in the action. [If you have not read any of the books in the series before, please read The Ruby Brooch, The Sapphire Brooch, and The Three Brooches before attempting to read this one]. Simply put, I can't recommend this audiobook and the entire series enough. Brava!

Love, Love, Love this series!
I found this Series quite by accident and I'm so glad that I did! There is just enough mystery and romance to fall in love with the Frazier family. Katherine Lowry Logan seems to get better with each Brooch story, I love the trips she takes us on and that she includes interesting history. I certainly hope there will be a number 8.

Another hit out of the ball park.
Katherine's brooch series is a great one if this is the first you found go look for the rest. Amy is a great addition to the family. She was able to mostly hold her own without help. She had me worried when she was saying she wanted to stay in the past. Teri is the right voice. I listen to and keep listening because she fits the series.
