This was a really great book about the ordinary people around the world who were contributors to the first Oxford Dictionary. Recommended if you enjoyed The Professor and the Madman (the two compliment each other). Also, if you enjoyed the historical fiction book, The Dictionary of Lost Words. Very well researched, lovely narration - and lots to think about for word nerds!
