Outdated & Out of Touch

This book is truly a dinosaur. The author needs to update their ideologies and research. Such comments like, "Don't forget, anxiety is just a feeling, it can't hurt you." is not only completely inaccurate , but a hurtful and antiquated belief. We know now that anxiety is a mental health issue that is so much more than just a feeling. The book is riddled with such insensitive and careless comments. There has to be better books than this that focus on bariatric surgery. It's time to put this book to rest.
