had heard mixed reviews but I came here with an open mind. What I found were simple concepts for truly respecting your partner in the way that men need. I have spent most of my life thinking "if I could just get him to change this or understand that". Well all I have to say is stay humble and listen to the book. It really accidently showed me how MY actions have drawn a wedge in my relationship and brought conflict. I tried one of the concepts on my boyfriend yesterday and it WORKED JUST LIKE THE BOOK LAID OUT THAT IT WOULD. Within minutes. I cant wait to keep applying what I've learned...I have 100% confidence in my having a healthy relationship because of the principles written here. Thank you!

Gave me ptsd listening to this from my childhood growing up and how my dad controlled my mom and used the exact words in the respect chapter, gives me cold shivers in a bad way listening to respect respect respect , women are not slaves for men and should not coddle them into being nice to us it works both ways and if you think this is the way to a happy marriage I don’t want it, I refuse to baby my husband into getting him to be what I want him to be and doing everything for him. Gave me mad anxiety 2 hrs left of the book I’m a DNF it’s too much slave not enough equal partners. Reader is a bit too chipper & pleasant and she seems fake reading this.
