Charlotte Rae, more than just The Facts of Life

Charlotte Rae starts off her audiobook by saying apologetically that her voice isn't what it used to be. While that may be somewhat true, I could still hear that familiar Mrs. Garrett lilt coming through in her voice, and it didn't bother me at all. Rae doesn't spend a lot of the book talking about the show, The Facts of Life, rather infusing references and anecdotes here and there as they fit. It turns out though that Charlotte Rae has led a very interesting and challenging life, and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to her talk about it.
