The universe is not a very nice neighborhood.

excellent story

Phew. I was beginning to think the author gave up on scifi. I don't know where this book fits in the timeline but it was superb.
I felt like the series was resolved in a hurry. it was great and then it eas over. Then surprise, heres another book. A good one.
is the whole galactic war a secret? nobody talks about previous events.
Maybe I'm an idiot and missed the part where Im told this is a book about the growing Solar union. Great fun to read either way.
