Good story bad narrator choices

The plot is good, but the narrator makes choices in the delivery that are not accurate to character or are very distracting. Eg a character that is old and of central Asian decent is voiced in a vaguely east coast voice, the supposedly tough and interesting FMC is voiced like an immature girl. Just super irritating. If you enjoy the audio experience but are influenced by how it’s delivered badly….. just use a text to speech program. This is super annoying.
