I never thought I'd go to college a virgin, but unless something changes—and fast—that's what's going to happen.

In comes Harden Hart, my all-American boy-next-door best friend with an offer to help in a way I'd never imagined.

The boy, who turned everything he touched to gold, had a filthy side to him I'd never seen. Oh, and did I mention he's straight?

We could keep this fun, but we had to hide it from both our fathers. We could smile for the cameras, focus on winning the state swimming championship and maintain Harden's image. Easy enough, right?

Only Harden didn't want to hide. His addiction to our not-so-private hook-ups put everything at risk with his father's planned presidential run, and I risked losing my best friend if anyone found out.

But the biggest risk of all: the risk of breaking my own heart by falling for someone who was never mine to begin with.

Maybe love just isn't in the equation.

Love the built up between the characters. Whished we could have seen the story from.both characters & that it would last longer but still is pretty great. Narration is perfect

OK, I typically try to avoid writing bad reviews. In fact I typically just don’t write anything, but I’ve never been so annoyed by a characters in my life. Each character is just repeating the same thing speaking very plainly but then intentionally not hearing what the other person is saying. It felt like I was experiencing gaslighting and abuse the whole time and not even well written trophy, dark romance, shit. This was just egregious and frustrating like fanfiction writing. It felt like its only purpose was to pad the length of this story because otherwise there isn’t much to be said about it. Pretty much only the two main characters matter no other character has much of a personality and only exist to try to etch out some semblance of a plot. This whole story feels like the MCs just enjoy annoying the reader/listener like a form of emotional abuse ugh. This was exhausting and not in a good way.

Loved! Narrator was on point and inspired, I actually thought it was two people! Great story line! Best friends become lovers when one of them doesn’t want to leave to college as a virgin. But who is he kidding he has had feelings for his best friend for years. I loved the drama, the competition, the swimming, the shitty parents! I actually completely forgot they were in high school!

I enjoyed this cute story, the difference with the politics background was nice and the boys have a very cute and hot dynamic.
