Ending unexpected, book content also not expected
I had high hopes for this book based on other reviews. But for me it only got interesting when there were 4 hours to go. The overall plot, climax and resolution left me wanting. Similar to getting sucked into a show that isn’t completely entertaining, but attention grabbing enough that you can’t turn it off thinking it will get better. Just to come to terms afterwords that you won’t get your wasted time back.
The performance was amazing but the rest is a flop. Sorry.

LOVE THIS BOOK!
Never saw the end coming. Well written, and well read! Loved the back story of the characters as they intertwined through the book.

It was interesting. I will give it that. I was enjoying it for awhile until I felt like some things did not make sense and were not realistic. With that being said maybe the author was going for "life isn't always pretty" kind of vibe. I really just did not understand the ending though. It could have been great it just left more questions in my opinion though. Also TW this book is not for those who want to avoid the topic of SA just keep that in mind.

no no no
I can't get past the British voice actor's painful attempts at regional American accents. No. The writing and dialogue is really terrible. There is no way I can finish this. Save yourself.
