Amazing !!
I was always a fan because I knew of Shan on social media and YouTube, so she had her chance or warming me up to read a “relationship” or “finding love” based book, which I usually don’t care for. But when I tell you this was an amazing book that I will refer to all my friends who feel like they get the short end of the stick when it comes to finding someone. Not only that but it is very much a self love and respect book as well.
Finally, her voice is amazing, funny and hella entertaining, she tells their story really well and I honestly can’t say she missed anything.
5/5 for sureee !!

Superficial
The beginning of this book dragged on with the authors process of how the book became a book. Some of which I felt to be unnecessary dialogue. There were really good principles that everyone - men and women, should be implementing. As the book went on I found that it started to focus on superficial values and it left a terrible impression on what standards we are focusing on in the dating world and ourselves. Yes, please take care of yourself physically but you do not need to do it for anyone but yourself! How you wear your make up, how you dress will effect what kind of person you are attracting, that is also a personal choice. At this point I stopped listening and deleted from my library.

such a great and inspiring book!!!
I have to say this book has been on my list of must reads for a long time. This book is captivating, funny and makes you think. the key to really enjoying this book is a persons openness and willingness to accept as humans searching or in other cases maintaining a strong loving yet mutually respectful relationship we must be self reflecting, want to grow for overall improvement and understand that relationship requires work and its never a fairy tail unless your willing to put the work in. anyways i loved the book and wish everyone can appreciate what shan is saying.

Awesome!
Loved it! Shannon has this drive and clarity (all the way from Youtube) that made me want to listen to this book instead of just reading it. This book contains so many useful tips and the situations and people are very relatable. Definitely recommend!

Not Great as an Audio Book
Not great as an audio book. I feel like you have to listen to it in one sitting to be able to keep up with all the fine details. I stopped listening to it for a week and when I returned I couldn't remember which woman had what issue. The advice given should be applied with a grain of salt as some of the advice sounds more like a gimmick. There are a few gems.

I applaud you!
Shannon Boodram. Girl. This book was everything and more! I am a 25yo married female and found this book to be very informative and helpful. No, I did not read this book for tips on how to date, instead it was to support a person who I look up to when it comes to “self help”. In turn, I benefited greatly. My takeaways were that of how to get what I want out of any relationship, be it business or personal friendships. Sometimes we may settle for things that enter our lives but this book taught me many ways of actually knowing myself first in order to go after what I deserve! Why clunk around waiting for your boss to notice you for a promotion?! Instead, put yourself out there, become someone they want more of and can’t be without! How you ask? READ THIS BOOK! All in all this book is a great confidence builder - start with your mind, then control the rest. Thank you, Shan!

The con-woman's guide for dating success.
This audio book lacks the accountability, integrity and honor required to the process of finding meaningful love. I hoped she would have her participants focus on self improvement and expectation management but, she spent about 10% on those subjects and 90% on how to manipulate people to find them desirable.
If you are interested in the book then please read or listen to it knowing that she teaches a systematic approach to dating for women who are struggling with accepting reality. She lacks the fortitude to explain to her participants how to take ownership of their situation and and leaves them believing that ridiculous standards may be rewarded (one story implies desirable professional athletes are romantically achievable by less than admirable women).

Too Specific
I love Shan...but this book was disappointing. I spent my time listening to a science experiment and how it worked for them. I didnt pick this up to hear about her case study, i want to know "The Game of Desire". Let me know the game in a few less words. She talks about flirting and good key points but they are so jumbled up in this case study...I didnt get much from it.
Please write another one, but more like a self help introductional and less like a science book!

just awful
same exact tactics as male pick up artists except for females. and ladies, pick up artist is about getting laid. read "not your mother's rules" if you want effective dating advice for women. I can't believe this book was written by a woman. this is how to be a pick me sexually aggressive woman. I can always tell when someone is using a weird game. she suggests weird little games and negs to trick a guy into being aroused. in my experience guys get aroused by a stiff breeze. God, this book is awful. a lot of fluff to make some money and of course it works, any man who is being pursued by a woman will definitely sleep with her lol... that's no secret. this sounds like a recipe for frustration and perhaps a venereal disease while forgetting to evaluate the guy. just a bunch of pep talk bad advice.

This book couldn't have been any better!
I initially downloaded this book only because I support Shan and absolutely believe in all of her work. I didn't think I would benefit from this book because its centered towards assisting the single community but I was wayyyy wrong. All the while hearing the audiobook, I couldn't help but to think of how many of my close single friends (who struggle in the dating scene) could benefit from this book AND it did actually give me perspective and self realization to make me a better me (AKA how self awareness and thinking things thoroughly can make relationships stronger). It's hard to explain but the only advice I can give is to read this book! I absolutely loved all of Shan's direction, tips, and the volunteers (Maya, Deshawn, Priscilla, Courtney and Stephanie) were a perfect mix of people that I believe many will be able to relate to.

How can a woman in a relationship use this tips
I love Shan and watch her videos but most of the time they are wired towards single women and this book although I knew it would I listen to because I wanted to see how I could use this in my relationship to keep things sexy and fun and keep the flame alive but I had a hard time since I already have the guy Shan would you please create something for women in long term serious relationships! Pretty please and thank you!!
