I have liked Jim Garner since I first watched him play Maverick. It is nice to learn that the real Jim Garner was just as nice as I thought he was. A great role model in many ways.

What a great memoir (written by James Garner himself but not narrated by him) if an interesting life. From a Norman, OK childhoid to Korea, getting into acting, Hollywood characters, behind the scenes information on movies and tv show, racing, etc., it us just a joy to learn about his life.
