Seriously. Don’t.

Sure, it might sound harmless. A fun party trick, even. I assure you, it’s not.

How do I know? Well, let’s just say that I’ve had a lot of experience with this sort of thing, and nine times out of ten, it turns into an all-consuming disaster. Being plagued by needy ghosts twenty-four/seven is one thing; being harassed by a horde of curious—or worse, grieving—flesh-and-blood people is an entirely different circus. I mean really, who wants to hold an impromptu séance in the middle of the cereal aisle? Not me, and the manager of the grocery store probably isn’t too crazy about the idea, either.

So, that’s it. If you’re a ghost whisperer, just keep your mouth shut and act normal. Ghosts? What ghosts?

Now, if only I would start listening to my own advice…

I love a good mystery, but find so many books go too far (for me) with sex and gore. These books provide a mystery and a little supernatural fun. So enjoyable. On my third book already.

Fun and relaxing

I didn't dislike anything particular about this book but I also didn't love it. It was alright for me. I had to keep coming back to it to finish even though it's only 6 hours long.

shes a great cozy writer but I'm not continuing on this series. I decided halfway through if she gets with this AH I'm not interested in the rest of her story.

Five chapters in, and I’m already bored and irritated with this book.

Maybe it’s the narrator but the lead female annoys me already. I think the introduction of the security guard and that entire incident was way overdramatic and absolutely stupid because no one is going to tackle someone who is just standing on a site, doing nothing but looking at the house. Was there a sign that said no trespassing? was there a sign that said closed set? or was it just knowledge that’s supposed to be out there? him tackling her to the ground was aggressive and excessive and then trying to flirt afterwards and her getting hot and bothered for him after being assaulted made me think oh Jesus, already this relationship is stupid. Could the author not come up with a better way for them to meet?

Then we have the ghost, for real? so stupid, so this ghost, who apparently stopped everyone else from buying the property immediately slams into her shop demanding and threatening that the FL get the builders off her property or she’ll start harming people??? Hahaha!! What does she think this lady can do that will be more efficient than an invisible entity screwing things up and delaying everything?

The whole hardware store scene made me roll my eyes and immediately call quits to this book.

If you’re looking for a cutesy ghost Hallmark type paranormal romance then this might be a good fit for you. I was looking for a paranormal mystery.
