Wonderfully creepy. From the first stirrings of off behaviour with the residents I was hooked. Despite a couple of niggling plot points I wholeheartedly recommend this novel and will be looking into more from this author!

You may want to check out the trigger warnings before taking the plunge though. While nothing is graphically depicted there are some monstrous human behaviours that take place.

I am a huge fan of Christina Henry and really enjoyed this latest book. Hopefully there is more to come.

I may have missed something but this seemed like a YA novel … written by a late teen for one. The story line of a character getting her period, another losing her virginity had my eyebrows twitching with the ick. Spoiler, there is no ghost in this book. I’m not sure why it was titled as such. A few gory bits and some magic but this wasn’t the book I expected.
