Aww How Sweet

Once again Danielle and Walt work as a team to solve the mystery. This series is very enjoyable. Although each book has a murder to solve, Kelly and Jo are the real villains in this series. They are constantly causing problems. I love this series and look forward to the next book.

Most Irksome Installment in a Wonderful Series

If this particular book ever gets updated, I want to address a few things. 1) People with dyslexia can create and “write” stories just fine, especially with all of the assistive technology available now. The repeated belief that Clint could never have written a book because he was dyslexic was infuriating and ableist. 2) The fact that it was even up for discussion by friends and neighbors that a pregnant woman might take a pain reliever for a headache or have a cup of coffee is ridiculous. Joe and Kelly suck enough without getting all preachy over a cup of coffee. It also came off as very judgmental from the author. 3) Not so much in this book, but it irritates me to no end. Oregon has executed exactly 2 people since 1963, and that’s because they essentially asked to be after giving up their appeals. The state has had a moratorium in place since 2011. Please stop using it as a plot device. Rant over.

Other than those points, I love these books. They are a lot of fun.

I Love this series! So much fun with Ghost.

I have loved the Oregon coast for years. These stories just helped me love it more. Thank you so much for Marlowe house, Walt and Danelle.

Wasn’t sure how I was feeling about the Walt situation. I cried so many tears with this one. The series keeps pulling me in.

We like this series, we get a like discussed with Kelly being such a busy body. But that is the way life is sometimes.

Brilliant

I have absolutely loved every one of these books so far. I will say though, two books ago I learned two things. Beverly was a snob and so was her daughter. I love Brian. Also that was the same book where I started to not like Kelly. She is a busy body nosy witch. I liked her in the beginning but I can’t stand her now. She jumps to conclusions and spreads the gossip without knowing the facts. At first I was rooting for Danielle and the chief, then Chris grew on me. I never saw her with Joe at all. But her and Walt are that couple you can believe in.
