About the Creator - Sebastian Fitzek

About the Creator

Sebastian Fitzek is an international bestselling author from Germany, with published works that have sold more than 15 million copies and been translated into more than 36 languages. Fitzek got his start in radio, later studying law with a doctoral thesis in copyright law. In 2006 he published his first psychological thriller, Therapy, which became a bestseller, as did all subsequent books. Many of his titles have been the subject of several theater adaptations, including Soulbreaker, Therapy, and Passenger 23. Sebastian Fitzek has twice been nominated for the Glauser Prize and has won the Golden Lovelybooks Readers' Award several times. He also received the Hörkules and is the winner of the European Prize for Crime Literature 2016. He is involved as an ambassador for the German Children's Association and as a patron of the association Das frühgeborene Kind e.V. Fitzek was born in Berlin in 1971. He lives with his family in Berlin.

Interesting but a hot mess in parts

Some aspects of this story were really interesting but the story was hard to follow at times. Not sure if this was a translation issue but some parts were a hot mess and illogical. I can see why others found the story compelling and different, but not my thing. I regret wasting a precious credit on it. Strong performance.

A twist filled thriller.

This twist filled thriller had so many turns that everything you think you figured out is exactly what they wanted you to figure out.
a fun read.

GREAT PSYCHOLOGICAL STory . WOW AMAZIMG

this book was one of the BEST psychological books I have listened to. The twist the characters, the narrations all made this book perfect . So for those that are for wrapping their heads around a good story trying to put everything in its place EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED !! I hope there will be more like this. 👍

Compelling

Gripping, suspenseful story. Well narrated, sympathetic characters. A bit of cringe worthy violence. Couldn’t stop listening until the end so lost a bit of sleep.

Fascinating Story

This was an exciting book. I started listening to it and couldn’t put it down I finished the book in one day. It’s a convoluted fast paced thriller with lots of plot twists right to the end. I highly recommend this book to you. I

Waste of time

The only good thing about this book was the narrator, he was very good. the book itself was a waste of time, contrived and convoluted. Ridiculous premise. I would not recommend it.

Disastrous mess

Almost impossible to follow the storyline. I suppose the author was trying to be clever but I didn't care enough about the characters or the story to put much effort into trying to sort everything out.
