This book is prime example that you don’t need the main characters to have a period of break up in order for the story to be interesting.

I loveee when two love interests are primed to hate each other but fall in love anyway. Sawyer being so anti the romance genre and Jenna owning a romance only bookstore was PERFECT 💕 and two of them were so achingly cute together!! I felt the tension. The gravitational pull!!

The other characters and the pets added such a warm glow to the narrative 🥰 I love when a romance novel includes fun side characters.

Overall, I’d highly recommend reading this during the fall. The cozy vibes are optimal for it 🙂‍↕️

Also, I’m so glad I listened to the audiobook! The narrator did such a fantastic job 😭💖
