I liked the first book in the Zoe Goldman series but the narrator REALLY turned me off this one. The narrating did not at all reflect a studious doctor, it was too hard to dig into the story when it sounded like it was coming from a whiny insecure teen girl.

Overacting the narration felt like condescension of the main characters personality. Quit after my 3rd time on chapter 3.
