...and I couldn't stop listening. I loved the lessons she described she learned, the self conference she earned for herself, it's worth a lot. I wasn't a big fan of swearing, but that is who she is and I ended up not noticing it anymore half way through. Thanks, Amy! Best wishes!

Amy Schumer shares the foundational moments of her life in The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo, and how they have grown her into the kickass woman she is today. As you listen to Amy, be prepared to experience all ranges of emotional reaction, mostly laughter, but often shock, and empathy. I absolutely loved how the truth shot out of her mouth without any apology whatsoever. She is certainly a powerhouse of a comedian, but this book, read in her own voice, reveals how she is a human just like the rest of us, trying to make it through one day at a time by laughing at our own silly lives.
